There are two major political stories this week serving to clearly illustrate why Barack Obama is unfit to become President of the United States:
1.) The conflict between Russia and Georgia.
2.) Obama’s concessions to Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Convention.
Yes, the former has been compared to Hillary’s infamous “3AM Phone Call” TV commercial and really stands without much explanation. However, it’s the latter which I find more alarming.
Obama’s campaign has agreed to essentially turn over the Democratic Convention to the Clintons. Monday night will feature a speech by Chelsea Clinton and a short film produced by Hillary’s friends in Hollywood. Tuesday night, is the featured speaker. Wednesday, speaking right before Obama’s vice-presidential nominee, former President Bill Clinton will address the Convention. And, finally, Hillary’s name will be included in the Thursday night roll call vote.
Democrats claim they’re just unifying the party by recognizing Hillary Clinton’s valiant effort in the primaries, and her nearly 2-million supporters in the Party.
Why? Why did Barack Obama concede so much to Clinton when she had absolutely no strength to negotiate? This is supposed to be his coronation. Instead, it’s a four-day Clinton love fest which only puts his weakness in the spotlight. Obama violated numerous rules of negotiation:
- He did not visualize the outcome first and negotiate to those ends.
- He did not deal from a position of strength.
- He did not think like a dolphin while negotiating with a shark.
- He accepted the first offer … and the second, third, and fourth.
Meanwhile, the Clintons negotiated brilliantly:
- She was prepared.
- She knew everything can be negotiated.
- She aimed high.
- She used the power of competition.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m no fan of Hillary Clinton; but, she was clearly the winner in this battle for the heart and soul of the Democratic Party.
More importantly, consider if these results indicate the lack of power Barack Obama would demonstrate in negotiating with foreign powers and handling domestic crisis should you elect him President. Russia, North Korea, the Saudis, the Palestinians, and; well, everybody, will just walk all over him!
Dick Morris sums up these concessions quite simply, “Is Barack Obama strong enough to be President?“
Vote McCain ‘08.

Hi. I am a long time reader. I wanted to say that I like your blog and the layout.

There is nothing wishy washy about McCain when it comes to Georgia/Russia.
While the foreign affairs advisor to Republican presidential candidate John McCain, Scheunemann was also a registered foreign agent (lobbyist) for the Republic of Georgia.
Randall Scheunemann (196?) is an American lobbyist. He is the President of the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq, which was created by the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), of which he is a board member. He was Trent Lott’s National Security Aide and was an advisor to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Iraq. He is 2008 Presidential candidate John McCain’s foreign-policy aide.
